USWNT hire Coach Vlatko Andonovski to succeed Coach Jill Ellis

On November 7th Coach Andonovski will take charge of the team when USWNT meets Sweden. He has a reputation of building a positive culture and is popular with players being a former player himself. He has also coached in every NWSL season, winning the NWSL championship twice. Favoring a 4-3-3 formation he is able to be attack minded without being overly aggressive. He will bring a new tactical sophistication which should enable the USWNT to keep in stride of ever improving competition. You can expect Andonovski to start out with a system that is recognizable to both the players and fans, but is able to adjust if the need arises. The USWNT will be in capable hands as the team transitions from the World Cup winning Coach Jill Ellis. Thanks for the wonderful memories Coach Ellis, as we now look forward to a new era under Coach Andonovski.
